The Cats Whiskers Boarding Cattery is FAB approved and fully licensed by Stafford Borough Council under the Animal Boarding Establishments Act 1963. This ensures the best care for your cat and to give you peace of mind.
We are situated in open countryside overlooking gardens, a small pond and bird feeders!

The cats are housed in spacious, individually heated chalets, each with its own covered outdoor run. Whilst each cat can see its neighbour, there can be no direct contact due to the 60cm gap between each run. The chalets are built to the Feline Advisory Bureau

Bedding can be provided but you may wish to bring something from home as a familiar smell will help to settle your cat. You are welcome to bring their bed, scratch post and toys if you wish, otherwise these will be provided.

A variety of food is available and is included in the boarding cost. Cats are fed twice a day or more often if requested by customer.
Pouches provided - Whiskas, Felix, Sheba, Gourmet Pearl.
Dry food provided - Purina One, Whiskas, Go Cat.Please note, there is no reduction in boarding fees if you provide your own food.
Prescription foods must be supplied by the customer please.

No cat can be boarded without a current vaccination against cat flu and feline enteritis. A Vaccination Certificate must be produced each time your cat stays with us. There must be a minimum gap of two weeks before having your cat vaccinated and boarding. Your cat must be treated against fleas and be up-to-date on worming treatments before boarding with us.
Prices (per day):
1 cat - £13.00 2 cats sharing - £19.00 3 cats sharing - £24.00
4 cats sharing - £28.00 5 or more sharing - £30.00
Please Note:
There is an additional charge of £15 for Christmas Day. Closed on Bank Holidays.
Any cat showing signs of ill health on arrival will be refused admission pending advice from the vet. This is essential to protect the health of all cats staying with us.
Treatment of pre-existing medical conditions, including trips to the vets may incur additional charges.
Administration of medication is charged at 50p per cat per day.
Male cats over the age of 7 months, which have not been neutered, cannot be boarded.
All customers are requested not touch cats other than their own as this can spread infection.
Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times. Loud voices and running around can frighten the cats (and me)!
Prices and Cancellations:
A £50 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit is required to secure a booking.
A full days board is charged for the day of arrival and the day of departure to allow for essential cleaning, disinfecting and preparation of the chalet and run.
There is a minimum fee of £50 per stay to cover the cost of sterilising the chalet and run.
Payment of boarding fees will be required on collection. Please note that we only take cheques, cash or bank transfer. Thank you.
Collections made earlier than the confirmed date will be charged in full.
If a booking is cancelled with less than 30 days notice, a cancellation fee of £50 will be charged. If a booking is cancelled with less than 14 days notice or 'non arrival', the total boarding fee will be charged.
